Now Write! is awarding free books to The Write Room as extra prizes for their 2013 Best Screenplay winners and Third Round Finalists.

TheWriteRoom.org Is a Nonprofit Writing Retreat & Literary Arts Program for Women and Girls.

TheWriteRoom.org encourages female writers with writing contests and offers workshops and residencies in Costa Rica.  Their offices are in Florida.

At the end of June 2014, TheWriteRoom.org  is sponsoring How To Write For Film and TV – a workshop in Costa Rica lead by screenwriter/ producer/author (and Now Write! Screenwriting contributor) Madeline DiMaggio.

TheWriteRoom.org 2014 (2nd Annual) screenplay competition is going on now (the competition is open to men).  LEARN MORE.

TheWriteRoom.org founder and board member, Geretta Geretta (an accomplished writer and filmmaker in her own right) has earmarked particular Now Write! books based on the winning and finalist writers’ inclinations.

The remaining writers will have their choice of either Now Write! Screenwriting, Now Write! Mysteries or the newest addition to the Now Write! series: Now Write! Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.
